Overview

NuetShark is an iOS study and exam-preparation app for students preparing for the Nazarbayev University Entrance Test, also known as NUET. The app helps users practice Mathematics and Critical Thinking through quizzes, exam-style tests, daily challenges, saved questions, result review, progress tracking, streaks, and admission-related reference content.

NuetShark does not collect personal information from users in the current released version. NuetShark does not require account registration or sign-in in the current released version.

Information We Do Not Collect

In the current released version, NuetShark does not collect:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials.
• User profiles, account data, or logged-in progress sync data.
• Location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library data.
• Push notification tokens.
• Advertising identifiers or advertising tracking data.
• Analytics events or production crash reporting data.

NuetShark does not sell personal information and does not use advertising tracking.

Information Stored On Your Device

Exam and study progress data is stored locally on your device using Core Data. This local data may include selected answers, correctness, revealed answers, time spent, exam or quiz progress, saved questions, daily challenge attempts, and streaks.

Local app preferences may also be stored on your device, including theme, vibration preference, and animation preference.

NuetShark does not upload user exam progress, answers, scores, saved questions, or streaks to the developer.

Remote Content From Supabase

NuetShark reads public tests, exam questions, exam images, and exam tips from Supabase. Supabase is used to provide read-only educational content, such as tests, questions, images, and exam tips.

Supabase is not used for user accounts or uploaded user progress in the current released version.

How Local Data Is Used

Local data is used to let the app show your progress, resume quizzes or tests, review results, track streaks, remember saved questions, and apply app preferences on your device.

Data Sharing

Because NuetShark does not collect personal information or upload user progress to the developer in the current released version, the developer does not share user personal information, progress, answers, scores, saved questions, or streaks with third parties.

Third-Party Services

NuetShark uses Supabase as a remote content source for public educational content. NuetShark does not currently use third-party analytics SDKs, production crash reporting SDKs, advertising SDKs, or advertising tracking.

App Store and Apple Services

NuetShark is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may process information according to Apple's own terms and privacy practices when you download, update, review, or otherwise interact with the app through Apple services.

StoreKit may be used only for requesting an App Store review in the current released version. NuetShark does not currently include subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Data Retention

Local progress and preference data remains on your device unless you delete it in the app, delete the app, or clear the data through iOS device controls where available.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete local progress data inside the app from the Data & Progress screen. You may also delete the app from your device to remove app data stored by iOS.

Children's Privacy

NuetShark is intended as an educational study tool. The current released version does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

International Users

NuetShark may be used by students in different countries. The current released version stores user progress locally on the user's device and uses Supabase only to provide read-only educational content.

Security

NuetShark is designed to keep exam and study progress data on your device in the current released version. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the app avoids collecting or uploading user progress to reduce privacy risk.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if NuetShark changes. If purchases, accounts, analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, notifications, or personal data collection are added later, this Privacy Policy must be updated before release.
